Welcome
This blog keeps us connected from city to city while we train for Road Races, like the Bolder Boulder 010.
We can motivate each other by venting/inspiring/advising and most importantly blogging.
From coast to coast, we will all have something good to say. Representing from the West to the East:

Really Starting to Train
I've actually been trying to get serious about my training recently. For the last 2 weeks I've gotten up early before work a few days a week to do short runs. And I have been doing long runs after work on Mondays. Last Monday I ran in the rain and got really lost. I was planning on running 8 miles and ended up doing about 12.5! I felt great the whole time though! Very inspiring, however, the past few days my right leg has been hurting. Before it felt like a tendon was aching just above my knee, but today (I ran just over 7 mi. yesterday) it feels like I have a charlie horse in my thigh. Not good. Should be able to push through for the week and then hopefully this weekend swimming and drinking will nurse it back to help! I'm pretty sure drinking is the best way to fix an injury, right?

Pete – yup drinking cures all. I had that problem too...try using a foam roller and ice after. I think you all should have an annual swimoff after a night of shots and don't let ur sister betcha!
