Ran 9 miles yesterday. It was the first time I intentionally ran more than 7.5 miles. I felt great. I was really into it, didn't get bored at all during the run, kept an even pace of about 9 minute miles. I even threw in the big tufts hill near the end of it. My left instep is pretty sore today. It bugged me on my Monday run too. My left foot actually fell asleep for the last mile of my run on Monday, I'm now sure if my shoe was too tight or what, but it didn't feel good. I've only been running 3 days a week lately so I'm trying to make sure I do 4 days a week and up the mileage a little bit. I'd like to do 13 miles late next week. I think running half the distance is a huge boost in training and mentality.
How's everyone else doing? We're under 3 months of training left!
