Welcome

This blog keeps us connected from city to city while we train for Road Races, like the Bolder Boulder 010.
We can motivate each other by venting/inspiring/advising and most importantly blogging.
From coast to coast, we will all have something good to say. Representing from the West to the East:

3 hours

Cari, my dad and I did about 3 hours (18 miles) on Saturday morning. Did get going as early as we wanted to so it was really starting to get hot by the last hour. Stopped after 5 miles to use the bathroom and after 10 to get gatorade and powerbars/gel. That second stop was a little bit too long, and we were stiff for the first mile after that. We ran a little bit too fast for most of the time and we were all fading by the last 2 miles. I felt pretty good overall about the run, felt like I could have done 20 or 21, don't know that I would have be able to do 26.2 though! We went in the freezing atlantic after the run and used it as an ice bath. Worked wonders as I was able to play beach football and frisbee that afternoon. Still concerned about my foot, it hurts when I walk but not really when I run. Should probably see a trainer...
