Had a really good 21 mile run with Cari and my dad last weekend. Feel very confident for the race. I'm getting anxious for it to get here already though!
I went for a run yesterday only for about 35 minutes and realized that that distance and time wasn't even longer enough for my legs to get warmed up and my body to get into running mode. After I finished, I realized that my body hadn't even registered that I had gone for a run. I had barely started sweating, muscles felt great but not as if they'd been worked out. It was a very strange feeling. I can't wait to get out of shape so that a 4 mile run is actually a workout!
See you all in 2 weeks!
